Alright guys, show me updated handlebars

I'm wanting to change the style of handlebars on Bear, but not sure what to get yet. was thinking of going with mini ape hangers, I'm somewhat tall (compared to alot of people) and having bars up the my chest roughly would be comfortable i think, but also don't want to spend a ton of money...

went out to a salvage yard looking for parts for my classic car, and came across an old, i believe 78 GL1000, guy said its all there, even though a lot of pieces are off the bike, and his brother just wants to get rid of it. im not sure if i should, although price is awesome, he wanted to sell...

    Changing pipes

Alright, so my plan is change out the stock (but cut) pipes I have on bear right now, but I remember some people kept telling me that I couldn't unless I had a certain kit for them. As far as I knew, the back pressure would not matter for anything. Not saying I am going to, but just to make...

    Radiator replacement

So seems the back side of my radiator is damaged somehow, and I have a leak somewhere out the top I can't seem to pin point so I'm needing to replace it, is it best to get a new one or would I be fine buying used from places like ebay? That is if the yard doesn't have one

two problems, higher idle and to much heat

ok, so I am wondering if the two are connected. But after my first coolant flush (had to do a few with in a month because of one thing or an other) Bear started idling higher. I know it has been hot, but lately even during the cool nights the bike seems to be a lot hotter then it should be. the...

    Handle bars

I am very tired as of now, but am unable to sleep. I just tried to do a search, but I can not remember what size handlebars Bear would need. is it 3/4", 7/8" or 1/2"? I know it isnt 1" Also, would there be enough slack in the line to get something a little taller? not wanting ape hangers, but...

    High Idle

So after going through some posts on the forum, still not finding what I need really. After doing my first coolant change, the idle on Bear has gone up, it idles about 300-500 higher then it should (depending on the weather). Not sure what caused it to start idling higher, but it is starting...

    Forward controls?

Has anyone done this yet? I have wanted some for a while on Bear but can not seem to figure out how to do it yet. My buddy who I took over his POA for, when he gets out he is going to owe me for the rest of my life, so I figure this is one way to start. If you have put forward controls on yours...

    What is that damn sound?????

Ok, so my buddy helped me replace my timing belts and made sure that the timing was on (which took forever) and checked out my tensioner barrings which were good when we checked them, no play in them and such. took us 8 hours from start to finish to do this, the old timing belts were pretty...

One mechanic won't return my calls, an other is in prison, and the honda shop doesn't have an opening until july 3rd for me, not to mention they want to charge me almost $200 for...

    Timing belt question

Alright, so I think it is time to put on these belts, started to hear some squealing when I start up in the cold. Even if the ones that are in there are fine, I already ordered the new ones last year and never put them on. Now I know how to get to them, but I have never put on a timing belt or...
