Is there a way to get air into the rear suspension when the pump isn't working? The pump will work for the fill hose, but won't work for the suspension. May be because my LCD only shows clock, no radio or air pressure.

I have put a new(used) wire harness in my GL1500. I am putting it back together and don't remember if the wires from the handlebars go between the radiator and frame or another way to get to the plugs on the fan housings. Does anyone know how they go or have pictures? I looked on the net and...

That's what happened here, too big of a fuse, overloaded circuits, and wire connections twisted together and left bare. I take great pride in re-building a bike, it makes it more mine I think. Thank you for the good wishes!

I bought a gl1500 that had an electrical fire in the fairing. I found this behind the CB and don't know what it is, it says "J&M" on it. I has 2 red and 2 brown plugs and some other assorted wires. It looks like it may have been aftermarket that plugged inline with factory wires. Any help...

I am looking at buying a 1990 GL1500 that has a removable trike kit. It has a 4.5 rake kit installed. Is it ridable as a 2 wheeler with the rake kit, or would that need to be removed?

Does a 1994 GL1500 have a 7 volt voltage regulator for the gauges? I see an ad for one claiming it has a bad regulator for the gauges.

I have all the sheepskins on the seat now, So comfy! Still riding almost every day here in South Texas.

It is VERY comfy! Makes butt happy...

Here is the latest picture with the sheep skin seat cover. Still have to re-build forks, but it rides good enough for now! I have the trunk and bags mounted on 1100 mounts.

OK, that explains why it was loose in there, I took out the splitter when I put in stainless brake lines. Thanks to all!

Does it go on where the brake line splitter mounts?
