Thank you, I was not sure. All the posts I see are about the 1000 to 1200 wings.
 
According to the wiring diagram in the Gallery, there is NO 7v regulator on the 1500. Appears the fuel & temp gauges are 12v. :BigGrin:

I wonder then if there is some other problem. The 2 gauges are staying on zero....
 
7volt regulators were on all the standards, & all Wings until 84 as well, but the 1200 dressers no longer had them. :read: Made up replacements from Mouser, :good: for next to nothing for both of my standards, & they are a great alternative to factory. :salute:

Probably share the same ground wire.


You are kerrect, Sir. Same ground, and same ground also for the clock, and speed pulser.


There are two connectors between the temp gauge and the actual ground, and 3 connectors for the fuel level gauge...my bet is there is a loose connection somewhere.
