GONE........to my bike!! :moped:

I have been watching for a set of NOS emblems for a long time and they rarely come up. Next year is "paint the bike" year back to OEM color and I want new emblems when possible. I have the tank ones I bought a year ago. It is a slow "expensive" process, but I really like the idea of new emblems on new paint especially with all of the other work done to date on the polished aluminium, engine painting and restoring to Standard. :thank_you:

Nothing like new emblems, He also has new goldwing that sits alongside the eagle, think you can still order them from Honda for around the same price.

Yep, you can order them from Honda so I will wait on that one. The hardest one to find NOS is the tank emblem for the top of the tank.

I repainted my emblems once and really don't like the way they look. It is gold leaf color, not gold chrome.

Ya I have seen guys do repaints of badges and the look nice but not as nice as NOS ones. Very nice and even better when paired with a quality paint job on a tank and side covers. Pricy but nicely.

I'm removing all my emblems so if anyone needs used ones I have them off of both bikes. I have just finished filling all the holes and prepping for paint. So hopefully this week the painting will be done finally.

I know what ya mean Joe. But my Wife really likes the appeal of new looking stuff on the bike! And you know the saying...."Happy Wife, Happy Life!!"

(Please note, she hates this picture because we had just come out of a pool and went riding back to the hotel.....her hair dried a bit in the wind! :hihihi: )

The emblems came in the mail yesterday. Man they look GREAT!! :yahoo:

Tried taking a pic but my camera does not do them justice. They do make the other "painted" emblems look rough....... :swoon:
