There is an oil screen on the right hand side of the engine way down level with the bottom of the case rectangular in shape, usually have to loosen engine and lift to get the bottom screws out.
 
Something I've yet to do on an old 84 motor, :yes: at cold compression three test @ 165# but the # 4 is less than 100, :Awe: hoping just a stuck & unbroken ring. :headscratch:

It often is just a stuck ring. A few oz. of ATF in both the oil and gas and a nice long ride often frees up the rings nicely.
