1976 GL1000 grab bars needed

Yeah I know. Anyway, I need 2 of them. Anyone out there got some? I can swap carbs, starters, electrica stuff, heads, cams, gear box sets, clutches just about anything from a GL1000 or early 1100. :thanks:

Yeah, because they break so easily. I wish I could fit a GL1100 bar, but it won't clear the seat.

the 75-77grag bars had the rear signal mounts on them ...and are prised for that reason 78 on didnt and 80 on dont fit really

You can adapt a CB750 bar on using a shop press to flatten out the curve up in back. It fits rear close to teh seat, but you can get the turn signals on it.

Forgive me.. I've always been a little confused on this.. On the GL1000's is the grab bar the curved chrome bar that wraps around the seat from one side to the other?

Yup; and it has the turn-signal attachments on it.
