1980 GL1100 rear shocks

Restoring a GL1100. Waiting for new ss front brake lines.
Rear shocks seem to lose air. Do I need to rebuild them?
If so where is the best place to purchase parts?

Welcome from central calif. I wsualy use chepe cycle, but there are many others. even ebay. Others here will also give you sugestions. We are good at that. :Egyptian: opcorn:

They may be losing air because they are dry or a line or fitting leaks. I'd check for leaks and try refilling with automatic transmission fluid. Maybe use the sealer for trans leak.

wecome to classic....rebuild with progressive springs as for where im not sure ...progressive springs are tougher ...and are huge upgrade.......

Welcome to the forum from Southern California! Best of luck with the 1100! I've purchased quite a few OEM parts from Babbitt's online. No problems with them so far...
