I have 2 gl1100 goldwings 1 is a naked 1981 I and the other is a dressed 1983 standard. Picked them up as projects but I don't have time for them. I can text pics of the naked 1 I don't have any of the dressed. They are located in the La Crosse Wisconsin area sparta to be exact but I may have to move them. I'm pen to trades bit I cannot ship or haul them so if you are interested you will have to pick them up. I do not have time to part them out either. World like to sell as a pair. 1 is closer to running I think but the other I can't get to turn over. Shoot me an offer

262 573 9840 text is best Thanks

Upload a pic or two to your album and post it here. If you need help just ask. Is either bike titled? Non runners are basically parts bikes. So don't be surprised if offers seem low.

Pictures of the 81 are in my album. I don't have pictures of the 83 they are stored at my buddies place 30 minutes away and I don't get down there often but I will try to get some soon.

Both bikes are titled. The 83i think just needs a fold change a spark plug change and a carb cleaning andi think it will fire up but I'm not totally sure the motor turns over but I haven't tried to fire it up. It needs some brake work and reassembly and I think that's about it to get it running... as for the 81 the motor turns by hand but the starter wouldn't turn the motor over so I wad going to swap the naked parts off of it to the other 1. I'm not expecting much but ifi could get a 1200 for the pair I would be happy. I have the plastics paint isn't in great shape but I have 1 full set of luggage an extra set of carbs (3 total).

I'll help you out since your new here, and for sale forum rules are at least one picture in the ad.

This is the 81?

More pics in his album.

Thanks. I wish I had time to work on themi wanted to do a rat bike project and swap the naked parts over but with a kid now and working a bunch of overtime I don't have tie time for them

Keep one and take your time fixing it. Lots of help here. Junior will probably "help" all he can. Hiding parts losing tools and stuff.

I'm going to try to move them closer to me so maybe I can work on them, until I sell them I would like to work on them. I'm going to keep both so I have a parts bike. As for the little 1 helping she's only 9 months old so she can't do much helping yet lol

Check the serial number on the steering head on that '81. I think it was originally an Interstate, not a Standard.
The 83 is the standard the 81 is the interstate

Plenty of helpful advice to be had here. I know the little one is a handful and tap expenses pretty well. But if you take your time and wait for the good deals on what you need you can get one on the road for not much money.
