As cool as a 300 HP Wing sounds, would the bike actually withstand the forces? Clutch, tranny gears, shaft splines, u-joint, final drive gears and splines, wheel hubs, swingarm bearings, suspension... It would be a fun project, for sure!

Nice job, Kawasaki - 300 HP from 1000 cc's is very impressive! I remember being impressed when the turbocharged Corvair made 180 HP from 164 cubic inches! Gotta love technology!

300hp with chain drive?! No way that will make it to public sales. A seriously detuned version maybe. Even then it will be the death of many like the Mustang was in "65. I rarely saw one in traffic. I saw a lot wrapped around poles.

im sure its 300 hp is way up there and brief ..its more like 150 on a contiguous like way ..no im thinking a more tamed version thats more efficient than power first thing ... seems hooch is at the clutch limit already ....besides thinking long ways from doing .... :headscratch: :lust: :hihihi:

The street version just gets more weight with lights etc and more electronics to make sure all that horsepower goes where it is supposed to. Street model H2 is to debut in November.

Gone from ninja to in-ja-you... and yeah even though it is a closed course bike there will be the few who dare to stunt it on the highways and by ways and go off the overpasses ramps curves...

I had 2 X 1974 900 Z1 's years ago . . . . one of them had been built to drag race , I changed the wheels and stuff back , it had an Air Shift , i know it never had anywhere near 300 hp. but it was pretty bad in the 70's ....... :smilie_happy:
