ride it ...ride it some more try mixing in 6 to 8 oz of ATF mixed in the fuel this is a good cleaner too and really has no down side and will improve your mpg more ...im sure

That is what I average on my 81. I have seen as high as 54 mpg but that was while I was riding the Skyline Drive which is posted at 35 MPH. If I run a tank of all gasoline and no ethanol, I will see gas mileage of about 43.

Listen to Joe on the ATF fluid, it works. My old girl ran like poopy until a couple tanks of Seafoam and Joe's ATF ever since...Thanks again Joe for probably the best Wing tip I ever had!

What SPEED are you running, tho? I get right around 38/39 mpg on mine running 75-80mph, but if I slow down to 65-70, I can skweeeze 41mpg out of it.

Exactly.
I'll bet he's right there in the ballpark.
On my 83 @55 it would seem like I'd get almost an extra gallon of gas.:moped:

Thanks Joe for quoting it again I'll write down this time :rtfm:

1 oz. of TCW3 outboard oil per 5 gal. of gas will also help keep the carbs or injectors clean and working right and is good for the top end of the engine.
