I wish I could say it is one of my GL1100s that gets 74.3 MPG, but sadly, it is not. The good news: It's a Honda :salute: There seems to be no end to the rise in gas prices. About a year ago, I read a projection of what we are dealing with today. I purchased a 2004, 250 Nighthawk , with 2000 miles on it, for the paltry sum of $1500. I have only ridden Gold Wings for the past twenty years :music: It was quite a shock when I rode a " 250 " for the first time  It ways around 317 pounds full fuel ( 4.3 gallons ). What really amazes me , is that it can carry 352 pounds :moped: I have added a windshiled and center stand . It is buzzy going through the gears , but quite smoothe in my cruisin' range ( 40 - 65 mph ) . It is a work horse for my 54 mile daily commute  There is a website called: Pauls Nighthawks , that has a story about a gentlman that rode his 250 Hawk from Seattle Wash. to Tenn. in 6 days :read: I will keep my wings for the long haul :clapping: If gas hits $5.00 a gallon , which I think it will, it might be worth looking into :salute:
