This is my '79 GL1000 Redo, not a restoration to new, but a redo the way I want it. So far I have done the single carb with the 2 BBL carb from Langdon's. I have replaces the rear shocks with Progressives, Installed a new radio in an ebay housing, I modified a GL1100 drivers backrest to fit with additional brackets, put on GL1100 saddlebag supports and waiting to paint the bags and trunk. I am picking at it a little at a time, while riding it almost every day to work.

Looks busy with all the mount brackets. Very nice. You are lucky to be able to ride at this time of year. I'm not so lucky.

Looking good and chipping away at the little things while riding all the time :good: :clapping:

Here is the latest picture with the sheep skin seat cover. Still have to re-build forks, but it rides good enough for now! I have the trunk and bags mounted on 1100 mounts.
