Smoke problem has gone away. Just turn it over a few times with the kill switch off, then fire it up and voila, no smoke. :?
Wouldn't that indicate that valve seals are the root of this accumulation of oil as it sits. How else would oil get into the combustion chamber when it is sitting cold?
Anyway, I am just riding it now and will have all winter to ponder what to do about it.
