swing arm is only in basic location shaft height is mis-matched, and No tire on throws that off

I will Not narrow the swing arm to get it in there.

I will be using a GL1200 frame which is wider and more robust to start with.

If for any reason i think it will not happen i will not sacrifice my frame for the cause.

I will go the other route of stock swing arm and pull hidden shocks, (instead of compression shock like stock oem shocks).

I may still go that route anyway

The GL1800 Swing would make a good reverse trike swing arm, where your frame is made to fit the suspension.

Those are some good pictures 82a

I had a C109R it had a really wide rear tire, there is a point that the width of the tire becomes deterrence to the bike, as the handling get worse, the flywheel effect starts taking control.

They look cool though

might consider the ql15 swingarm (that can also go CT) though i haven't run across any info of someone who has actually done it, other than (talk) it is easier\dooable as opposed to the gl18 swingarm,

posted the blue dragon pix as yet another possibility (something useful there perhaps etc) or direction for a swingarm solution,

pretty sure there are a few CT options for the stock gl12 swingarm, but very ltd,

CT database is here https://darkside.nwff.info/?p=tires

I also have a few reverse trike builds i will be doing.

One of them is a Suzuki M109R engine/trans, 1800cc FI, 130H.P. 130Ft lbs torque, I bought the wrecked bike, with only 1800-miles on it, it is like Brand new, I bought everything except, the front wheel, and forks and frame.

The swing arm for that bike is enormous, all alum. rear wheel is WIDE, a 280 sized CT is going on that, plenty of meat with that 280 CT

I will be using a 99' Miata 10AE Front suspension clip, including front disc brakes, calipers, and Swaybar, I will put in a Miata Manual rack and pinion steering box in,
I bought the Miata front clip, from a rear ended car

The body work for the Reverse Trike listed above will be VW bug steel Rear Fenders, in the front, they have a long tear drop look that is very 30's 40's swoopy look to them,

then blend either sheet metal or fiber glass between the two fenders but slightly higher 4" higher than the fenders, kind of like the old 69' Camaro LT1 with cowl fresh air intake that were open at the rear windshield area, this area would house stock gauges, switches, and ignition, push button.

It should provide a very nice looking body, as it would resemble earlier car era.

Tail lights, and blinkers would be put into the back of the front, VW bug fenders, but they are actually off of the vw bugs Rear fenders as the rear fenders have the shape i am after.

This trike can be done using a VW front Beam suspension with brakes, and a GL1200 with a single carb conversion for more torque, like Dan's 1.0"id tube runner conversion.

More torque for a trike would be a good thing
