I have learned that when upshifting, I cannot leave my foot on the heel of the shifter..it will not allow the shift barrel to return to center, and thereby be ready for the next upshift. I have to completely remove my foot from the shifter to get good, smooth upshifts. Downshifts don't seem to be a problem. :good:
