How come right in the middle of enjoying this fine forum & participating, I get a flag comes up that says that "you are not permitted to access the search" when I never asked for the search in the first place so I just hit the back button and was brought back to the "login" page? Here I am just sitting here reading the recent posts and the site kicks me off. A gal could get a complex. :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :crying: :crying: :beg: :beg: :beg: :beg:

I agree Dan. it was on that video that Apple posted. :Awe: :sensored: :sensored: :music2: :music2:

Actually, this has happened to me several times, long before I posted the video in question. It has happened when attempting to "submit" a post, and it has also happened when first getting on the site, even tho I stay logged in all the time.
I think this is more of a "cookie" issue, but it could also be that we are being "timed out". Ya'll try clearing the CGW Forum cookies in your browser and see if it happens again.
As far as that one video I posted about the kid riding his bike with the flag, I don't know why it says it has been blocked. I will edit the post and just put in the link to the youtube vid, and see if that helps with that. :laptop:

Dan this is the post that has caused me the problems. It was the chicken video. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1586
As for "timing Out". I never log off and have never had a problem here or anywhere else unless my computer does a no no or if the site is down for what ever reasons. :music: :music: :cool!: :cool!:

I can't play the attached vids with any browsers so I download them then play.

There may be some settings to make attached videos run better but I haven't figured it all out yet so I recommend linking to them instead.

I didn't post a vid in the "Chicken" thread....Bob(toytender) did...blame it on him! :smilie_happy:  :smilie_happy: I DO get a "An additional Plug-in is required..." flag when I bring the thread up. So far, i haven't attempted to actually look at the vid Bob posted, so I can't say what would happen for me on that one. :headscratch:

I posted the "Chicken video" and it works fine for me however whils reviewing the posts of this threasi received the "not permitted to access" message when i checkes i found out that i was logged off and had to log on again...then it seamed to work.....OK now it is getting weird. Now i can't run the vidio either and when i select "view your posts" the system logs me out and i have to log in again The post of the chicken video has a counter that said it was viewed 50 times???? or was it.. IF the video is a problrn then i will delete the post.....I saved the attachment to my document file then used the brouse function at the bottom of this reply section to locate the file in my documents folder and to copy it into the post. Seamed to be the logical thing to do, but then again i assumed that was right...BUT you know what they say about assumming....IT makes an ASS out of U and ME. :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy:

I think it is a Plug-in issue, too, for that particular vid. At home, the media player window doesn't even show on the post, but here at work it does(but the vid still won't play). At home, I get a flag for the "Additional plug-in required", but here at the shop, it doesn't do that. I did d-load it and watch it with no problems, tho. Must just be a weird vid/media program that is needed that not everyone has(on their browser)... :read:
