my niece lisa came by yesterday so we decided to take my nephew dewey on a ride. lisa let dewey ride her nekked 1100 and she rode my 1200 aspy, myself on the 1500 wing. we headed north on schaefer then made a left turn on m-14 going west. no we didn't have a route planned i just took them on a short ride of 81 mile on some rodes they had never traveled before. we took m-14 into ann arbor,mi and turned left on main st.. down town was buisy with all the sidewalk cafes doing buisness and traffic was moving slow but we made it through town passinng michigan stadium ( go blue! ) along the way. following main st. until it ends puts you in tipton, mi. a quick left and we stopped at a resturan / store to get out the sun ( it was 90+ outside ) and cool down. while there we decided we would get some pizza and watch part of the tigers game.. back to winging it so we made it to saline, mi where we headed east on us-12 for home. we needed to be home around 3:00 and ended up taking I-94 from saline back to my house. as you know dewey doesn't have but about a month or so of riding and our last trip on the expressway was only 4 miles.. he handled the 1100 wing with ease and we made it to my house by 3:10. dewey commented on how smooth, powerful and comfortable the 1100 wing was to ride

dewey borrowed lisa's 1100 to go watch a local baseball game and put on another 10 miles and lisa and myself took the minivan, went and got her husband and headed to clarkston, mi to look at some beverage coolers for their store. we made it back to my house just as dewey showed up. 10 minutes later he was off again only this time on my cb450 nighthawk. i bleave he has bike fever and is hooked. mbs will follow soon
