About timeing belts

Email back from Cascade on the timing belts.

He said his supplier told him he may not see the belts until the 24th or 25th of the month. So, we will see how long that really is. May 1st?

Got an e-mail from Charlie Platt at Cascade Cycle Re: Timing Belts.

"This is to inform you that your order has been processed and shipped."

This is the message I sent back: Hey thanks Charlie. A good thing is always worth waiting for. I will look to your place first for other stuff in the future. The reason: You kept me in the loop with the truth and no BS involved. Too many in business don't figure that counts any more but IT DOES and customers vote with their feet. The delay was insignificant to me and I appreciate your candor.

Never dealt with these folks before but will certainly look there first in the future. The total cost for two Gates belts was ........ $30 that included shipping BTW
