What after market fuel filters might some of you be buying/using on your GL 1100's I can get a honda brand for $20.00 bucks :heat: :heat: :heat:

I don't know the part number but Napa has one that works perfect fits the bracket and is under $5. If you take your old filter in they should be able to take care of you.
I found the Napa part number it's 3011 and the cost is $3.49.

the napa 3011 will work on all 1000, 1100 and 1200 wings with carbs

The WIX 33011,33031,33001 (NAPA 3011,3031,3001) will all work fine on any 1/4 inch fuel line, but if you have the stock fuel filter holder like I still do they will not fit the bracket.
The 33011/3011 will kinda fit,but its a very cheap filter element if you look at it,and its a universal 1/4-5/16 nipple with no barb. Its a lawnmower filter, thats all. Trust me,filters are my business.

$20.00 is to much, you can buy the honda fuel filters off EBAY for under $10.00,cheaper if you are patiant. The last ones I bought were less than $5.00 so I bought three. Its not like they go bad in the bag.

I also load up on oil filters when I have my WIX farmdays sale and pick up 6 oil filters a year for about $3.00/each using a big farm account. (WIX 24940) ,then when the local honda shop has its open house I will buy four gallons of GN4 for about $20.00/gallon.
I like to have everything on hand when I want to do a service.

The next time around I will try this one.

It's for CB750 but I am hoping it will fit GL1100.
Good thing is it's a chrome spin-on and comes with an adaptor (two size threaded pipe).

Otherwise I use ones from eBay. Made by BikeMaster (#17-1611).
This one is for CB750 too so I am hoping the above spin-on works on GL.

That spin on oil filter looks exactly like the filter that was on my bike when I got it, it was chrome and no name or part number on it. It was a pain to get off I ruined a oil filter wrench and ended up buying a strap wrench and crushing it to finally get off. I don't know how long it had been on there or how tight it was put on.
Let us know if works.
