:smilie_happy: HI flash, toy just pulling your leg,(we just a happy bunch of folks) S&W stands for Smith & Wesson firearms as in handguns, common in the U.S. of A. If the mounting holes are same diameter, spring rating capacity is the same and the length is same then they should work. I wouldn't want to use a shock that is more than one inch shorter than the stock length for your wing because you could have some tire/fender clearance problems. If it's and inch shorter then the rear is going to ride and inch lower in height. I couldn't tell you if they are any good or not, never heard or used that brand. Always used OEM.

S&W shock are some of the best after market shocks you can get. If they hold air and no oil stains they're good. Length is a none issue. The 1000-1100-1200 use the same length shock. Altho the the 1000 wasn't factory equiped with air shocks.

pretty sure the 1200's are longer than the 1100 shocks (2 inch difference I think)

these are off a GL1100
The ones that are on the bike now look like the ones in the picture, but the guy welded brackets at the bottom so it will fit the 1000. The guy who had the bike before was a real butcher, poor bike needs a lot of work.

1100 - 13"
1200 - 14.25"
1200 will work with 1100
Yes they will work but it drops the fender closer to the tire. Ok if your not a heffer like me

i meant the longer 1200 shock works on the 1100 line, bike then sits higher than normal, it's also my understanding the 1100 shock requires air to run whereas the 1200 shock doesn't, at least for light loads

i have no experience going the other way, as in mounting or using the shorter 1100 shock on a 1200
