Does my 83 Int. have self canceling turn sigs.

I think it does :smilie_happy:

I kept trying to turn them off after a turn only to find they were already off.

I would have kept on doing it if I hadn't run across a post somewhere/ or saw a part on ebay or something related to this.

If its for real - I like it!!

IIRC... two ways..... a turn sensor that recognizes you have made a turn and a mileage sensor that works after 1/4 mile ... but the switch needs to e reset to the middle.. at least on the hondas I had that did this... I think my Yamaha actually set the signal and returned to the center..

Yes

I am always amused when I see bikes going down the road with a signal on.

I've never done that mind you :hi:

On a cager, it's called Alzheimer's...on a bike, it's a pre-emptive strike! :smilie_happy:

My 82 also has self cancelling turn signals.the sensor fits inside the neck on the frame if i'm not mistaken. It does work by tilt of the bike i guess.
