i believe it is dan, and i figured ...Why Not...the front faring was in need of replacing, so i am making a trial and error run on it...doing away with the crappy stuff that needed to much work and doing some other stuff to it..since i have all these ideas in my head... :headscratch: ... :hihihi:

i've been stuck in the mud with this one, waiting on some parts, trying to get some other things out of the way, working on the cars, picking up the grandkids from school everyday... :heat: ...then if that ain't enough...all them honey do's.. :whip: ..lol.....but hopefully it will come alive soon... :music: .. I think this faring job i am doing will get some other folks interested too...it will be a surprize...

well, well, well,,,i have finally got to start back on this dang project. It's been a lot going on lately with the kids and them other kids and them kids that keep showing back up... :swoon: , but anyways, while i was changing out the timing belts today, i noticed that the timing belt on the left side was rubbing on the bottom of the pulse generator a tad. It really wasn't lose, but did have a little more slack in it that i like. So the thought came to me about these pulse gen. (getting hot and going out). Rubbing can cause excessive heat...So my thought for today was making sure your belts are tight enough not to rub and lose enough as not to be to tight....and you might want to check these on a scheduled basis. Anybody that has a 1200 already know or they have heard of the issues with these pulse generators. I just thought i would pass what i found today and considered the outcome that could come out of it later by the rubbing effect.
