I've noticed this in a few places now. ATF, as in Automatic Transmission Fluid, in the gas tank at fill up.

Is this some sort of joke? I'm new here.

I did it on my acid test ride after my restore. I went up in the Sierra's about the 8500' elevation and WOW. The bike was idleing about 400 rpm faster after the run and the bike acted like a put a tubo on it.
Mileage jumped from 32 to 40, and we are talkin hill climbing!!! :rocks:

I wouldn't run it with a CAT or ANY smog devices. Repairs are too expensive to take the chance.

+1 for anything fuel injected unless you are prepared for a potential costly experiment ( it may be ok but I am not brave enough)

Catalytic converter is damaged by lead. All motors burn a little oil. Some a lot but the catalytic converters are unharmed. I use it in my Subaru and fuel injected Ranger. Not saying it's safe. Only that I'm willing.

Good to know, I may yet be brave enough as my old girl has 260k on her and I am sure is using some oil. I do know that you can kill a cat with too much fuel!!
