Just finished putting the BaggerShield on my bike today. Took it for a ride, and I swear to gawd, there's at least 27 more horsepower at the rear wheel! (well, at least it feels like it when my hair's blowing in the wind)

Very cool! I've heard that windshield called a "Euro" something, not a BaggerShield.

I've often wondered what that shield felt like.

~O~

Yeah, it's a BaggerShield (the sticker on the front says so!) It has a clear portion that resides behind the smoked glass (you can barely see it in the pic). If I need to block some wind/rain, I undo 3 wing nuts, flip the clear portion up, and wingnut it back on.

It feels nice. The PO had an extra tall windshield on the bike. I didn't like the way the wind came at me from behind. It didn't feel like a motorcycle to me. Sitting on the bike now, my shoulders and head are above the smoked screen. On a 70 mile ride, I only had 1 bug hit me in the forehead, and that was after riding the 15 mile moth gauntlet on my way home from work last night.

Seems like you could take a standard 1500 stock wind screen and make your own bagger...if
I had an extra screen I'd give it a try. Cut off the top 10 or so inchs, match it up to the bottom drill some holes and there you go..maybe paint the bottom to block sunlight to protect the LCD screen a bit more as you don't look thruoght the bottom 10" or so of the windscreen anyway..
