Bike won’t stay running!!

I’ve restored many goldwings to a single carb and this one has me stumped!
Bike will only stay running if I give it gas to about 1400 rpm, once I release gas... she dies.
I’ve adjusted the idle and air/ fuel mixture screws and no luck. Last thing to check will be spark.
Fuel pump is new and she is getting fuel. I have a temporary hanging fuel canister so I can monitor the fuel going into the carb.
If the spark checks out good I really don’t know what else it could be. The single carb is brand new

Update. Small pieces of rust made its way into the carb. The fuel pump is suspect of this. Will clean tank , change fuel filters and such.
I did put a different single carb on it , bypassed the tank and used a new fuel pump.
Bike runs really well now.

Swap the fuel line while you are at it. They get coated with and then sluf off rust.
