The right front caliper on my 'wing started getting sticky so I bought a couple rebuild kits to redo them both. I've been looking at the kits and the new EBC pads sitting on the work bench for about 2 weeks and I finally got some time today to tackle it. :)

The left one went smooth as butter. Sadly, the right one went not so good.

The bleeder valve is froze up. Now, instead of riding it to work tomorrow with my new brakes I get to carry the caliper in to get the damn bleeder out! Uggh! Then I get to work 3 12 hour shifts before I'll be able to finish it up!

Oh, and as an added bonus, the screws on the reservoir lid rounded out.

Sorry, just needed a place to vent! It's really just mechanical work as usual!

:smilie_happy: All my reservoir lids have at least one screw rounded out and slotted now. :head bang:

I'm hoping I can find some stainless ones at work to replace them. You never know what you can find tucked away in the back of the machine shop. :) If not stainless, at least some good quality allen head ones.

Well, I got the brakes done finally! I had mucho trouble bleeding them out. Just as I was about to pull out all my hair, I realized I hadn't thread taped the new bleeders and was sucking in air around the threads. Now the brakes work great... and my battery decided now would be a good time to stop holding a charge! Ugggh!
