I'm helping Slabghost's widow sell off his parts and bikes. This is a brand new C5 ignition including programmer..according to Paul at C5 the only thing not there is the adapter for whichever specific model you want to install it on. Vince paid about $700 for this setup.... you can have it for $350 shipped and insured.

If no one has spoken for this, I will take it...let me know how to pay for it if so. Thanks!

Great deal ....

Best $$ you can spend on a GL.

No way was I going to touch this C5. This is the very unit that caused Vince and I to have our one and only serious smackdown. We both laughed like heck after it was all over, but it wasn’t funny at the time.

Glad to see it going to wingrider. He knows what to do.

Thanks Desertrefugee! This is going on the bike that got the Weber’s! There is a 1200 sitting under them right now...

Wolfie has his Weber carbed 1200 just about sorted out...

BTW wingrider... I'm going to be able to pick up the C5 THIS weekend instead of next. I'll let you know when I have it ready to ship.

So THAT'S where they went! Awesome. I am a huge fan of that build - and said so in his thread. Nicest 1200 I've seen.

This is a different bike than the black one he built....that was a 1100 with a 1200 engine. The engine went bad and he bought a 1200 for it's engine, then decided to just do a complete build on the 1200.

Thanks Bob! :salute:

Desertrefugee, we have a few different bikes being tossed about here, Wolfie’s bikes are a work of art with the Webers he put on... but your old Webers are going on a 75 frame with now a 1200 block...we were going to keep the 1000 block in there, but this parts bike came along, so the party was on. :read: :beg: :Awe:

Are you using 1100 heads for early cams or keeping the 1200 heads? Reason I ask is that there are a couple sets of cams in Vince's parts too. Which reminds me...I need to take some good pics so I can identify them.

At the moment, we will be keeping the 1200 cams. Going to drill and tap the cam. Once the guy that rides it gets bored, who knows what we will stick on.

I just spoke to Paul and he said he got a box from UPS with this serial number ignition in it but he has no idea what he should do with it. Anyone know anything how it got back to Paul, because he is stumped.

So, someone got it? It was lost by UPS....I would love to get it being we paid for it. Bob has been great trying to help out on this.

Paul certainly has it! He is going to load the most recent firmware on it, and then send it to me!
