I do not understand the tech part of the system. or motors for that matter.

I just know from my experience with my bike that it starts right up ( which it did not do before the c-5), You give the throttle a twist and my bike gitty ups and goes, whether up hill downhill or just on a straight a way.

I know there is a wire on my bike to change this c-5 but I have no idea what it would do or even why I would want to change the way my bike goes now. It makes no difference if I am in first gear or third gear it does not bog down at all with this system in my bike.

I took the engine out to install this because I had just put the rear end in, before I bought the c-5. I did not want to go there. And if I did I would have had to work around the bar right in the way back there.
To me it seemed a lot easier to take the engine out to put this great piece in where the old ignition was. It was not easy but I am glad I went that route for me. If you can put a cam on in front then by all means go for it. It would be a whole lot simpler to get it on and also to look at it later after the install.

To the question of gas mileage-- as stated earlier I see no difference in my MPG due to the c-5. But I have noticed a good increase when I use ATV in my tankful of gas .

I just love the way the c-5 improved my ride.
