Can I move my wing with the starter pulled?

Hey again,
So I went to rebuild the starter on my 81 interstate over the weekend, and when I got it apart it was a dogs breakfast. Commutator worn down badly and grooved beyond repair and the connections shot.

So I went to plan b and ordered one. I need to move the bike to a different spot in the garage. Is it safe to move without the motor in it?
