howdy all. i have an 82 gl and it seems to be not getting gas to the number 2 and number 4 cyl. reason i say this is the headers on the# 2 cyl gets warm and the #4 cyl stay cold. the cyl is getting the spark needed so i pulled the carbs off today and found that the float valve was stuck closed on the #4 carb. so i freed it and cleaned it up and put it back on. didnt really change it running. a little addendum to this is the carbs have been rebuilt aprox 4 years ago with the randakk kit. any thoughts?

best plan might be to go through the carbs with spray cleaner. Then verify all the bowls fill with fuel.

These carbs have a very small idle jet which clogs easily. It's happened to me twice on carbs sitting with gas in the bowls more than 3-4 months.
The screens below the float needle could be clogged also.
If the drain screws come out you can tell if each carb is getting gas.
