carb adjustment

i have a question on my carbs i just cleaned them inside and out. new pilot screws and gaskets. what do i put my pilot screws at for start up? or can i put them at factory settings which i was told was 1-1/4 turns out and leave them?

I would start there, but make sure every thing gets synced when you get her running.
