I'm pretty new to this forum, as a mater of fact, as you can see this is my second post. I've got a 1983 Aspencade. The previous owner cleaned the carbs and did a pretty good job, but he did not replace the Fuel Cross Tube O-rings. They are leaking at this point. I'm inside the carbs at this point and everything looks new so I hate to but a complete carb over haul kit for $200 just to get 8 o-rings. I've been to Honda, they are not sold separately. I can't seem to locate them separtely with any of the venders I am farmiliar with. Has anyone out there repaced these in the past without buying the complete kit? If so where?
Thanks.

Take a couple of the o-rings you need to your local transmission shop, and see if they can match them up. I bet they can, IF they are willing to take the time to look. You could also try a local auto parts house. THey sometimes have "kits" with many different o-ring sizes, and different materials.

Thanks for the sugestions from everyone. I contacted Randakk earlier in the day. He got back to me this afternoon and stated that his company did not provide those particular o-rings singularly. The good part is that he provided a vendor that does. Cycle-Re-Cycle Part II. (I tried to post their web site but I don't have 5 posts yet so I can't post an outside link). I went on line and order them this afternoon. A special thanks to Randall Washington of Randakk's, even though he does not sell the part I needed himself, he provided a place where I could get them. Again thank you.

I have a metric O ring kit I bought from Pep Boys a few years ago for under $20.
They have been in fuel so I gather they're ok for the job.

I've got a couple of o-ring selection, a metric and SAE, I tried all hat looked close but none seemed right. They are weird sizes, the large ones are 5.8 X 1.9 mm and the small ones are 2.8 X 1.3 mm. I ordered two sets for both the small and the large cross tubes. I'll most likely never need them again but if I ever do, I'll have a set.

Randall's good people. When you have enough post's pls post the link for the source of the Orings. I have at least one bike in line to re-furbish that needs those. Those sizes are unique and the HF kits don't have anything that will replace them.

EDIT: Found the site and Orings here's the link
