Carb. Synch.

All I can say is oh my gosh, oh my goodness, I bought the same Carb synch. kit that Dan shows on his youtube video, it came in today, it was easy to use, 3 of the four carbs, were still on target but the #1 was pretty off, now they are all the same, nice, I have never heard it sound better, took it for a ride and all I could do is smile.. :grin: I couldn't be happier with my 81, the carbs being synchronized proper makes a huge difference..It's always better when you do it yourself.. :grin: Thank's Dan for showing me how..It takes off very smoothly, runs good..

Just for info the vac hose they supply is super cheap quality.
I synced mine then put it to the side. After sitting just a couple months in a cool garage the hose split and broke when putting it on the carb fittings.

No problem I can get new hose at Lowes..

Hi,I ordered my vacuum gauge sync tuner and adjusting tool pkg from Saber Cycle.I'm getting it tomorrow,I can't wait to try it out on my 1981 1100 interstate.It has just a little pop every once and awhile so i'm hoping after i tune them it will smooth them up.Thanks for all the info.

They really smooth out when you sync them. I thought my bike was smooth before I synced the carbs but a lot smoother after syncing them. :shock:
