sorry think i put a post for this in the wrong forum. forgive me im still new to this. but does anyone know if the carbs off of a 83 1100 will fit a 78 1000. the 78 has a bent float needle in it and i have a 83 for parts since it locked up. we are thinking of trading my hubbys harley for it. but want to know if its worth it.

So you are trading for the 78? Seems a bit one sided unless the Harley has issues too. I do prefer the wing over a harley though

The 1100 carbs should work on the GL-1000
