Sure just take the front wheel off and its easy! Not..

Took the front axel holders off and then figured how to remove speedo drive. Then had to take off both front brakes and got the wheel off.

Then I took it to the closest shop (4 blocks!!) and they swapped my tire (20.00) and back home.

Then it took a while cause I had to take apart the front disks to recess the pistons, but the pins holding the pads were real grungy. Took them out and lightly sanded them then wiped off with a oiled rag. Put the brakes back together and confident that they will work better and probably drag much less (not at all).

Then I had to put the speedo drive back, far simpler then I feared. Place the drive back on the gear box and turn the wheel by hand and it goes together 1 2 3.

Sounds easy but I had never taken a Goldwing apart for front tire before so I took it apart and put it back together aboiut 6 times till I was satisfied.

Thats what I did to my Wing today!

Me as well!!! BUT STILL not willing to pay someone else, my money, to do my work. :nea: Just rubs me the wrong way. :good: Cheap old bastar _. :smilie_happy:

I agree, and you know it was done right, or you learned how. Lately I been involved in a tractor museum and have done a lot I "knew" about but never did until now. But for 20 bucks I will pay for tire off the rim and a new one on!
