It was so funneh...

The bike? an O.C.C. style extreme rake with the obligatory 3 foot wide rear tire.

The guy? Nice suit with a tie over the shoulder...he stands about 5'1" on his tippy toes.

We meet at a light, and he gives me look like I'm some kinda weirdo, I look over and the speedometer is over his head, with both hands about 18" over his shoulders. The chopper had been built very low so he could hold it up, but the top of the triple tree was over his head by an inch or two.

So the light changes and chopper guy roars off, dipping his head under the handle bars from side to side to see where he was going! :smilie_happy: :eek:k: :good:

~O~

More money than brains I guess. Sad thing is that the doofus will probably end up running into somebody.

:smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: Sounds like he was over compensating for something :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy:

He was literally looking through the space between the tank and his arms, back and forth. :headscratch:

He was driving one of those large wheeled trucks.....You know the ones....You get a blody nose just gitting in.....Not able to see even the top of the car to his right.....He roars out of the stall and turns right... right across the fender and hood of my car (actually my mother-in-laws) and never stopped....I don't think he was looking or if he was it was through his a _ _. :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :head bang: :head bang: > never did find him.......The insurance Co. diden't even try (California no fault at work) I had to pay the $ 500.00 deductable :fiddle: :swoon: So ride on big wheels  :yahoo: :whistling: :whistling: LOVE IT :heat: :heat: Bob

:smilie_happy: that show is good for a laugh , they don't really Make Anything.... they buy all the parts , and have another guy Paint it.....and another guy do the Seat........ and all they do is Put it together , and Money don't matter .... what a joke that is . there is a little bike shop out in the hills about 15 miles from here , the guy who owns it really knows what he's doing..... I stopped there one day, and there was this Loooong Chopper sitting right in the door...... I said gosh thats an Impressive looking thing . well it was a Jessie James bike , somebody in tri-cities bought it , $70,000 ..... and he rode it less than 5,000 miles and the front wheel locked up , and put him in the ditch ... the front wheel bearnings had never even had any greese put on them. ........and it was $70,000 . :head bang:

THAT was the guy's own fault, of course. Spending that much on a custom chopper would automatically render it un-ride-able. He shouldn't have been trying to actually enjoy it. Something like that is simply meant to be garage art.... :Doh2:
Again I say,

:smilie_happy: I'm sure your right .......... rich guy no dought , to pay that much for a Chopper . I had several old school Choppers back in the early 70's .... but nothing like this . the ones I had was pretty much worthless , hardtail frames , a 2" pot hole would make your nose bleed , most wasn't raked at all , so they was really tall and heavy , and hard to do anything with.
