Clarion 1 radio cutting out every 5 or 6 seconds (not ramdom).

I installed a Clarion 1 radio awhile back. Its got kind of a popping noise (slight) and at the same time the volumn drops and immediately returns to where it was before. Happens pretty fast but it sure is annoying. Doesn't seem to be a reception problem as it occurs about every 5 or 6 seconds. Anyone had the same experience? I'm thinking it may be the amplifier but not sure. Maybe it's the tuner.

I will check power and grounds. About the only thing I can do before I think about replacing components. There are lots of grounds for this system installed. I'll check the wiring diagram. Thanks

Good luck to you. You might want to combine all the ground wires to one heavy ground.
