My garage door opener ain't werking, so Mama has been opening the door for me before I get home, so I can just pull right in. I get home yesterday evenin, and pull into the garage, take off my gear, and go inside, leaving the door open, as I usually do to let the bike cool down for a few minutes. Later, when I go back out to close the door, I notice something strange, but it dint hit my right off....it took a minute or two. Then I notice it, or rather, I notice where IT should be, but IT is no longer there. Someone walked into my friggin garage, and stole my friggin battery charger. :sensored: The dang thing sits at the front of the garage, so they walked right by TWO Booster boxes, and countless hand tools and other stuff to drag the charger out and take off with it. It had to have been done before I got home, because once the bike is in the garage, there's really no way to get the charger out without making some kind of noise. I axed Mama if she moved the charger, and of course she says no. SONOFABITCH.....
I got a damn good idea who done it, but got no proof. Damn meth-head meskins across the street. Mama says she's seen the guy drive by real slow several times, looking inside the garage when the door was open. So now, I told her to leave the dang door down...I'll open it when I git home.
They stole the charger because it was prolly the most valuable single item they could see, and they could sell it quickly. Dint take nothin else, just the charger. It ain't no cheapy one, either. I've had that thing since the early '90s. Snap-On "Super Charger BC 5500". Cost me aboot $300 back then. Heavy sumbitch, too. Same charger now is over $600.
****** *******s. We bought that house in '96, and this is the FIRST time anything like this has happened.
