100/90-19 Front AND 130/90-17 Rear Comstar wheels and Dunlop tires in excellent condition (maybe brand new?). I don't know what year they came off of because I inherited the bike and a lot of parts. I think it's from the 1978.

Anybody interested??

Date code?? How old are they? You must have some good eyes. I guess this shows I don't know crap about tires. Like I said, I inherited them. Maybe I shouldn't have used such high res pics, eh? I don't want to sell anything dangerous....

They were garaged at Fewman's and they've been in my garage since. I haven't touched 'em other than to take pics. What you see is the condition I got 'em in from Fewman's widow.

they look to me like fewman thought thet were good and im sure his care was excellent ...and the date crap means nothing when stored right ....just my opinion
That is so true..I didn't know anything about date codes for years and ran some tires I know must have sat a decade,Just gave an inspection for cracks and anomalies.. ran them till they were bald most of the time.

I looked the tires over and there's no cracks or signs of age. I wonder what the date code is?? Where is it on the tire?

I got 'em on Ebay now for $100 + shipping. I had them higher, but got no nibbles. At least now, I've got a bid. According to Ebay, the shipping should be about $30. I never know what the shipping is gonna cost until I actually print out the label.

Epay can be funny, Just because you don't get any bids doesn't mean the price is high..Just need the right couple people to be interested , then there are deals too good to pass for any wingnut, they purchase and it sits on a shelf waiting for their purpose.
FedEx has always been good for tires and rims, best price and all you need to do is wrap them in bubble wrap and some cardboard, if you have one of those rim shops that supply all the pimpmobile`s with their buggy sized rims you can usually find boxes and packing for your motorcycle rims.

It looks like the front tire was made in the 39th week of 2010 and the rear was made in the 3rd week of 2006.

Thanks for the info....I never knew they put the mfg dates on the tires. I assume they do it with car tires too ???

Ok...now you guys got me confused. Can I put those tires on my '75 with spoke wheels if I use a tube? Will the bead set on spoke wheels or are those tires specifically meant to be used on tubeless rims?

well I should know ...sheesh ...but its longer than 2weeks ago ...and im confused now ...my memory is the biggest liar about me ...toy no dummy that why I instantly step back to review
