ok after further review ...both the tires on my 77 are tubless tires with tubes ...I didn't put these tires on ...they were on hooch when I got it ...but I used to do the same on my other 1000

Why not use the wheels and tires on your bike? They really do look nice.

I'd really like to keep the bike as close to stock as possible. I don't think Comstars look good on a '75. They look great on the later year bikes.

I've got a bunch of parts that the widow gave me.... I think I've got the entire front end for a '78 or '79. Forks, triple tree, calipers, disks, wheels...etc. Maybe I should assemble it all and sell it as one unit....but that would require wrenching....and my back doesn't like manual labor.

If you still have them when I get back from the meet. I'll see if I can swing the cost. I'm sure I could find them a nice fit.

Next is the front brake assembly. Brand new...still got the red caps on the holes. I have no idea what year they are for. I'll have to take some pics and post 'em here and hope some of you guys can help me identify 'em. Does anyone know if there are identifying numbers on the calipers?

It would be nice if there was a swap meet in Colorado...
