A buddy of mine years ago had that same fairing(or one dang close to it) on his Moto Guzzi...seems like it(his) was a Windjammer, but my memory sux these days....

The bike collector up on the corner by me has an old 1000 with a BATES clipper fairing. Not like the picture one,but does have a trunk in the front, and a windshield that turns with the bars, kinda like a phazer snowmobile.
Ugly, but one of a kind forsure.

Mr Bates made all kinds of fairing and and was big into motorcycles and racing.made lathers racing jackets and pants to.lots of bates stuff in the UK

Dan i agree with joe.not some thing you see every day.and i for one would really like to see a bike like this one day.i have not doubt it would be in great hands. :good:

dan maybe if you could look at and if good could somehow buy this bike we could start a thread to collect donations to replace your investment to keep you out of trouble or hot water or whatever title sould be ....im sure we can make a good dent into such a small investment . dont think about it just do it if you can leave the rest to faith ....

I like that idea :good:
I sure couldn't spare $500. As it is we're having to pull some retirement out to meet ends this month, scary work wise.

FWIW I sent the listing an email to see if it's still available.

The mistery has been solved. The fairing is a Tridair Voyager by Kimstock, inc. 2200 Yale st Santa Anna Ca. 92704. I ran across an ad. for it in the October 76 Rider mag.
