Finally, it's nice and cool in the AM on the way to work :clapping: It's was still 115 on the road home :heat: , but the ride to work is glorious :rocks: .

You know that thing about deserts being hot in the day and freezing at night is a big fat lie. We had 10 straight days where the temp never dropped below 90 last month.

Living in the noisy city with traffic and dogs barking the desert is one of my favorite getaways.

Sounds like a plan for this weekend. Get up at 3AM, on the road by 4 and get out to Acton by 5.
Park the bike, kick back and listen to the silence!

The desert is a nice place to visit. But I am near death in tripple digits. We've been fogged in for a month here. But I can ride 10 minutes and be in the sun.
20 - 30 minutes will put me in 100 degrees, plus or minus.

Nope....gimme cool salt air any day. :music2: :cool!:

"Cool" mornings here equates to 90 deg @ 8am... :heat: It's been over 100* from around noon until late in the eve for over a week here....AND it's humid, which makes it even worser... :evil:
Why oh why cain't it just stay 75* year round? :yes:
