 :sensored: :head bang: :Awe:
Here's what I saw when I went to start my car this morning, so it could warm up a bit before heading to werk....

The green turd is my work car....tree is frozen to it....doors frozen shut.
SON-of-a-B :sensored: :sensored: ch!!!

Does that mean that you could go back to bed? I am pleased to say around here the only doors that get frozen shut are the freezer doors  I think I need to go to bed now after seeing your misfortune, hope the green turd survived once it was uncovered and defrosted :beg:

Better late than never. If you spray the car door seals with silicone they don't freeze shut. Guessing which limb to spray is up to you. Hopefully the snow cushioned the impact and your work turd is undamaged.

Oh sure......steal all of our New Jersey weather when we are experiencing 50-60 temps up here! (Give us back our winter weather!)

(Of course, because we have Texas weather up here, we can still ride! :hihihi: :moped: ) Sorry Joel. :ahem:

I think Joel and I are in the same band of weather... they think 1/2 inch or more on the roads... if you took a Texas map straight edge and the weather map overlay. You could see the band.. ...... sorry Joel for your tree keeping the car home...

They are reporting 1 inch of ice accumulated over night... Yeah Joel if you haven't left yet... you might make it by noon... we had power out for over 4 hours.... up here in Nevada, Texas...

More pics after daylight....another branch fell on top of the truck that wasn't there earlier....

Took me aboot 3 hours to get that mess trimmed enough to get IN the cars, and move them out of the way. There is one large branch still standing....leaning up against the tree, that my green turd was under....we have some tree guys coming by later today to knock it down, cut all of it up, and haul it off. Same guys we had come out this summer to trim this same tree so this crap wouldn't happen.....

The lesson learned here is "Don't park under any tree's is Texas, 'specially in fronta Joel's house!"

They don't call our gumtrees "widow makers" without reason. This happened the next suburb over from us.

Man killed by falling tree branch near Jimboomba
Posted Sat 16 Nov 2013, 7:11am AEDT

MAP: Jimboomba 4280
A 39-year-old man has died after a large tree branch fell on him near Jimboomba, south of Brisbane.

The man was fishing with his three children on Teviot Brook near the Logan River when he was hit and trapped under a large tree branch around 6.00pm AEST yesterday.

None of the children were hurt in the incident but it took emergency crews about an hour to free the man.

Paramedics tried to revive him but he died at the scene.

Authorities do not believe the branch was brought down by a storm.

Queensland Police are preparing a report for the coroner.

They tell us to always look up when around trees, unfortunately this one was massive and dropped half a ton of timber on this guy and his kids. Luckily he managed to keep the kids out of the way but wasn't so lucky himself.
