Bike has no power at all. Turn the key and nothing. Battery still has 12.5 volts . So more then enough to give me lights. Tested the positive next to the fuses under the false tanks with multimeter tester and light tester and no power there. Replaced a couple fuses to see if it would help and still nothing.
This all happened after i removed the stereo and replaced the front signal lights and tail light, not rear signal lights.

NOTE, The stereo i removed was a new stereo i installed 3 days ago and everything was working fine but didn't like the stereo so removed to install another new one. Was just going to check led's to see how they work when i realized i had no power. Have not yet installed the new stereo. Also 1 of my horns broke off the bike. Unhooked the 1 and tested to see if the other 1 still worked and it did at the time but then a couple days later the other horn wasn't working.

Check all the fuses and grounds. A little dirt or corrosion can cause a lot of electrical gremlins to appear.

Can't seem to get my camera to upload on my comp.
Next to the battery , the live wire runs to this round thing that sits in a rubber pocket type thing. Attached to it are 2 screws and what seemed to be a flat peice of metal which i would assume, Dan, is what you're talking about . It's broken in half, so i'm guessing that's were my problem lies. The other problem is i don't have a replacement which really sucks.
Is it common for these to go like this?

Get a blade type fuse holder, the round holders will overheat.
Make sure it's 30 amp rated.

When you pick up the fuse holder also pick up a couple eyelet crimp connectors.
These go on the 2 phillips screws, one to each screw.
The connectors should be crimped down (one to each wire) then soldered to ensure a good connection that won't overheat and loosen up.

Going to get the part now. Only place open now is wal-mart. Hopefully i can get a good deal on a soldering gun.
