I am still having fan issues on my 91 Goldwing 1500A. I have replaced the Therm Switch but the engine still goes all the way to the red line. The antifreeze is full. This all started when I changed the gasket on the water pump. If I touch the plug to the switch to the frame the fans both come on. Anybody have any suggestions what my problem is still?

I think your cooling system may have an air pocket under the fan switch. Check your manul for a "burp" procedure for the coolant system. :laptop:

I have seen issues of teflon tape on the threads insulation the switch to ground thus keeping an open circuit, always better to use a two wire temp switch, if by chance a single wire is used as I have seen some thread sealants will keep it from making a ground path.
