1978 gl goldwing. Here’s a thought and would appreciate feedback if I’m on right track. Have a significant oil leak in the final drive bought the oil seal but looks like a doozy to change it, ie tools calipers and other. Talk to a guy and he recommended just buy a final drive on eBay and switch it out? Can’t find anyone these days to work on the old bike. I have been doing some work myself but this seems like an easier solution. They’re running between 80$ to 150 $ for the unit. I’m asuming that shouldn’t be that hard to switch out. Feedback appreciated
