Marvel Mystery Oil is better than ATF. Its specifically formulated to burn and burn cleanly in any engine. The 82 Gl1100 I just picked up might just might have multiple engine issues but since I have a donor motor better suited I will be getting rid of the 1100 engine, dropping an 84 Gl1200 engine in. Bike is massively loaded with aftermarket gear so having a better gear ratio tranny with the GL12 engine will help it, I have seen another GL1100 in another Wing of mine that is also toast, its an 81, maybe if I get lucky i can find yet anoter 84 engine for it. Just seems to me that the 1100 engine is fine for its time but Honda made better engines since then.
