Superhawk
I was recently gifted an 81' Interstate, not running, but free is good even though I have a lot of work ahead of me. She has sat for an unknown number of years after being beat upon for a short time by the second owner. Fortunately most of the 26K on the clock was put on by the first owner. The plastics are a mixed bag of condition, and since I really like the look of a naked Wing, I'm going to restore it as just that, naked.
I currently own a 98' Superhawk. I'm in the final stages of mods to the SH. When it's done I can turn my full attention to the GL.

Welcome from Oz to the rust free part of the world. You have the right colour and I have always loved a naked. See Steve's process that he did on the Rats Nest for inspiration and the right way to get this old lady fully operational again.viewtopic.php?f=82&t=5340#p74433

Nice start, and welcome to the forum. Sort of sound like my Wing when I bought it, It had 10K on the clock and sat for 23 years with gas in the carbs, tank ,coolant oil and all...What a project it turned out to be but it worked out just fine.
If you sell that trunk rack give me a PM, Been looking for one that is nice/decent, and no I wont trade you for my seat :smilie_happy:
Good luck and glad you joined.

Well it was 17% RH yesterday and I saw a cloud. I'm guessing that you spent time at Davis-Monthan.

Visited my Mum (mom) in Sierra Vista in 85 with my then girlfriend now wife ( her first trip to the States). Always felt a great affinity with AZ ( except for the LEO in Page) as the lifestyle reminds me of Oz :good:
