I know I've already introduced myself but this was my first ride on a GL so I didn't think it was too much of a stretch to post it here. Included is a link to the obligatory offering of pictures.
First off, when I rode the GL home from the PO, I it made a lot more drive train noise than I expected. On a later ride, the front end got really squirrelly at around 70mph. A complete adjustment of the valves (way easy :music: ) got rid of the drive train noise, and filling up the front tire with the recommended pressure (was at 15lbs :swoon: ) cleared up the high-speed wobble. :good:
Anyway, I rode up to Mount St. Helens today. Beautiful ride. Bike ran flawlessly. Amazing! This is a thirty year old piece of machinery that has obviously been rode hard and put away wet for a very long time, yet it still ran like it was new. Kudo's to the Honda engineers. :clapping:
