I know I've already introduced myself but this was my first ride on a GL so I didn't think it was too much of a stretch to post it here. Included is a link to the obligatory offering of pictures.
First off, when I rode the GL home from the PO, I it made a lot more drive train noise than I expected. :( On a later ride, the front end got really squirrelly at around 70mph. A complete adjustment of the valves (way easy :music: ) got rid of the drive train noise, and filling up the front tire with the recommended pressure (was at 15lbs :swoon: ) cleared up the high-speed wobble. :good:
Anyway, I rode up to Mount St. Helens today. Beautiful ride. Bike ran flawlessly. Amazing! This is a thirty year old piece of machinery that has obviously been rode hard and put away wet for a very long time, yet it still ran like it was new. Kudo's to the Honda engineers. :clapping:

Just left clicking on the link should bring you to my photo bucket album. :beg:

It's asking for a password to log in. There must be another way to view the pics without logging in, others do it.

karitoki, your Photobucket Album is probably set to "Private". You'll need to change that to "Public", or insert a "Guest Password". That will automatically insert the password for others following the link. You can do this from the "Account Settings" button at the top of the Photobucket page. :good:

OK, I changed the album to public so it should be visible now. Kinda new at this picture posting business... please let me know if there is still a problem viewing the album. Thanks

That's a nice bike, glad she's running good and your able to put some miles on her!

I went up to Saint Helens soon after they started letting people go back in.
Utterly amazing to see all the trees laying flat on the ground! Just like what you'd expect to see in a nuclear blast.
It was a sight to see for sure!

And I like your "Survivor Bike"! Did you use a primer or just paint over everything? What type of paint did you use?

Nice trip pictures. Beautiful shots of the mountain. I like this picture of the bike.
