Front Brake Master Cylinder

Hey All:

Noticed this past Saturday night, I was leaking brake fluid from the base of master cylinder. So 1st and only question at this time: Rebuild or replace. Haven't had time to inspect resevior for cracks. Has not been dropped. .

Why do either? If it works all you need do is replace the reservoir. :good:

Or replace only the reservoir seal if that's what's leaking.
Personally I would probably go the whole way and rebuild it.

I'm with Dan.Just rebuild.The kit isn't much.Not hard to do.

Thanks for all the replies...I'm going to rebuild. I plan on replacing all the brake lines so I'm going to end up with a whole new brake system (sans rear master cylinder.

Parts and more carries the reservoir and rebuild parts... you may have to search the site but they have lots of brake and ,other parts..
